INSTRUCTIONS:

Garlic Brown Butter: (Inspo: Guga Foods)

First, over medium-low heat, begin to melt one stick of butter. As the butter is melting, add in the peeled cloves of garlic and the thyme to the butter. Decrease the heat to low and begin to stir the butter mixture. While stirring the butter mixture, brown speckles or tiny milk solids will begin to separate and make the butter mixture turn into a toasted brown color. Once, this occurs, take the mixture off of the heat, and pour into a heat-safe bowl. Set aside.

 Spicy Burger Sauce:

To make the sauce, combine 3 tbsp of siracha sauce, 3 tbsp of mayo and 3 tbsp Dijon mustard. Stir together until fully combined. Set aside.

Bacon and Cheese Smash Burger:

Veggies: Begin to slice the tomato and onion into thin slices. Season the tomatoes with 1 teaspoon of Flavour seasoning. Wash and pat dry the green leaf lettuce. Set all veggies aside.

Dice bacon into small pieces. Then, in a large bowl thoroughly mix the beef, bacon, the egg, ground black pepper, and 1 tbsp of Flavour seasoning.

Begin to form 8 equal size hamburger balls and place them on a sheet tray lined with parchment paper and quickly put in the refrigerator for 10 to 15 minutes.

Preheat a cast iron pan or griddle to medium to medium-high heat and add in cooking oil.

Add the burger meat balls to the hot surface and immediately press down using a burger press. A piece of parchment paper can be place in between the burger press and the meat to prevent sticking.  Cook the meat with the burger press for 2 to 3 minutes or until juices start to appear on the top of the uncooked side of the burger.

Now, remove the burger press and add salt to taste. Flip the burger again and add salt to taste to the cooked side.  Then cover with the burger press for another 2 to 3 minutes. and cook.

Remove the burger press. Then, immediately add on the cheese and cook until the cheese begins to melt.

After adding the cheese, add a dollop of garlic butter to the top of the cheese and burger patty. Let the cheese and garlic butter continue to melt together. Stack two burger patties on top of each other and set aside.

For assembly, layer bottom toasted bun with the spicy burger sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, two cheeseburger patties, more spicy burger sauce on the top bun, and serve with desired sides.
